Completed in 1989, this most recognizable LA skyscraper was overdue for a make-over. Genlser brought LDA on board as part of the team re-designing the main lobby and two other secondary entrances. This main lobby portion consists of a two-story glass atrium / entry with a large curving LED media wall, compressing down to an area with lower ceiling height that includes the circular elevator core. The circular luminous ceiling is the only light source needed for the circulation that wraps the elevator core. Perimeter wall-slot cove lighting creates a floating ceiling affect in the elevator lobbies. A domed ceiling in the center of the elevator core has RGBW (Red/Blue/Green/White) LED cove lighting, programmed to mimic the changing sky throughout the day.
