Opened in the winter of 2005, the new San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino replaced the older casino facility that the San Manuel Band of the Mission Indians has owned and operated since 1986.
Unlike many of the southern California’s Indian casinos, San Manuel is not in a remote mountain area, but is nestled in the foothills of the Tehachapi mountains keeping it still within the Los Angeles suburban area. The main feature of the property is the 2,500 seat bingo hall and event center. The casino has 3,000 slot machines, poker room, sports grille, buffet, steak house and lounge.
The exterior front facade and porte cochere lighting provides a warm and inviting presence, reminiscent of the surrounding desert colors, to arriving guests. Multiple lighting layers including the uplit overhangs, grazed stone surfaces, decorative sconces and, accented landscape enhance the multidimensional natural elements to create an aesthetic and functional entry.
