The main restaurant space has clean architectural lines that we accentuated with lighting for an open, airy feeling. The dining room is delineated with linear gold slots recessed in beams that span from one side of the room to the other. As the linear slots interfered with locations to drop pendants over seating groups from the ceiling, we integrated a center support post between the banquettes to provide mounting locations for decorative floating pendants over the tables.
The hidden restaurant wanted to have a completely different lighting solution and atmosphere. At night, the general downlights in the space are turned off, and the only architectural lighting is accenting the bar and bottle displays, highlighting the custom artist murals, bookcase display and in-wall lighting and the cove lighting above. This creates a moody atmosphere that complements the intimate room.
