A fusion of Hollywood’s famed Houston Brothers bars, ‘On the Record’ is an eclectic evening cabaret meant to evoke nostalgia and awe at every turn. The lighting is curated to each room, reflecting a different decade as the theme progresses, including karaoke rooms, dynamic bar displays, dancer platforms, and a double-decker bus overlooking an open-air dance floor. While there was no shortage of inspiration to pull from, the true challenge of ‘OTR’ was adhering to an ever-changing design, budget, and schedule.
